Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Departure from the club on Saturday at 6:00 am
Downhill cobblestone trail from the village of Vikos to the springs of the Voidomatis River, about 40 minutes
Overnight stay in Papigko (accommodation does not include breakfast)

Day 2

Morning departure for Mikro Papigko (930m)
Ascent to the Astraka refuge (1900m), 2:30-3:00 hours
Route via a dry lakebed and alpine meadows to Drakolimni (2050m), about 1+ hour

What to bring

Hiking boots
Trekking pole
Backpack with water for both days, snacks, fruit, sandwich
Rain jacket mandatory
Separate bag with spring / summer clothing
